Training design
I design and facilitate training for teams, whether they be for specific target groups within projects, or for larger networks. Either focused training sessions or a purpose-built training strategy with numerous types of interventions, including exchange, grant programs, as well as specific leadership training.
Throughout my career, I have designed and facilitated numerous face to face training sessions, across a diverse set of issues, including campaigning, networking, climate change, sustainable tourism and environmental tourism.
All my trainings are based on a thorough needs assessment and initial discovery work with the group before the first meeting. Once the training sessions are complete, the learnings can be applied quickly to manage the concepts required
Networks
Networks are a very important tool to achieve transformational change. If they are to function well, they can be the catalyst to strengthen the member organisations and create real change.
Working with networks requires an ‘active listening’ approach to the needs and the fears of its members. As an external observer, I can help a network to reflect on areas which cannot be seen from within, aiding them to take the actions that are required.
Through a diverse set of training and networking tools, which includes: Policy analysis, strategic planning, capacity development and conflict resolution, I provide networks and organisations with the tools needed to create and build a strong network to achieve together their goals.
Facilitation
No one group is the same, each has its own needs and requires a specific approach, therefore good facilitation is key. My trainings aim to understand the real needs of the participants by using their existent knowledge by creating an involved and fun learning environment.
